Contexture Media Network is now in production on season one of the SAG-AFTRA New Media comedy-drama series "The Great Melting Pot" and an open casting call is now scheduled for actors in Chicago, Illinois on Monday August 12, 2013. “The Great Melting Pot” is an 8 episode “dramedy” web series that ostensibly addresses the topic of our current social climate, and every day race related issues in the United States.The series first aired on Monday April 29, 2013.

Seeking the following:

• Caucasian Female* (age: minimum 18-25) Redhead, or Brunette. Intelligent, Quirky, Sardonic, and Unassuming (*must pass as a college student)

• Latino Males (age: minimum 18-35)

• Latino Females (age: minimum 18-35)

• Asian Males (age: minimum 18-35)

• Asian Females (age: minimum 18-35)

Please prepare one contemporary comedic monologue, and bring a non-returnable headshot/resume. Union and pre-union actors are welcome to audition.
